Former state Sen. Mulholland dies of cancer

PHILADELPHIA — Former state Sen. Joe H. Mulholland of Philadelphia has died from complications of cancer. He was 80. Officials with McClain-Hays Funeral Home say Mulholland died Tuesday in a hospital in Meridian. Mulholland served in the Senate from 1964-68 and 1976-84.
