Wilkerson, who served three terms in the Mississippi House and was a spokesman for the propane, petroleum and convenience store associations for 25 years, has died at the age of 68. Mayor indicted on federal bribery charge

VICKSBURG —Mayor Paul Winfield has been indicted on a federal bribery charge. Federal court records show that Winfield was indicted Tuesday. He had already been charged in a criminal complaint in the case. The FBI arrested Winfield on Feb. 20.
